“This song is about how I struggle with insomnia. The past couple of years have been heavy for me. Sometimes I can’t sleep because the things I keep most quiet about comes out at night. Trauma and anxiety both play a huge role with it. There’s other nights where I don’t even have to be sad to be up.It could just be because I’m thinking about life and how grateful I am to have the things I do. Other nights can be a mixture of everything. My goal for this song is to captivate that and really set a mood for it. Every time I’m too much into my head I can’t recognize if my memories are just something made up or it was an actual real life event” - Nenci
